Borneo is the world’s third-largest island located in South East Asia. It holds one of the last ancient and virgin rainforests left on Earth. It is also home to a great number of fauna and flora that is found only in Borneo. There is only one part of the island that remains largely untouched & unexplored. It is called the Heart of Borneo (HoB) which is also a conservation agreement initiated to protect a 220,000 km² area.
This unique paradise is threatened by humans in the form of illegal logging, palm plantations and forest fires. Borneo has already lost over half its primeval forests, and a third of these disappeared in just the last three decades.
The destruction has resulted in a variety of issues such as habitat loss, water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and the displacement of Borneo’s aboriginal people.

Preview the structured stages, required knowledge and priorities for the expedition.
Transparent estimation of costs involved. To make all of this possible, it greatly comes down to available funds. The project’s success is determined by each individual willing to support this cause. The majority of my previous travels with the purpose were on a very limited budget therefore I learned how to minimize costs and maximize output. Estimated costs are minimal for the work to be done properly.
